New! The Bodyguard V2 Holster grew out of a need for a comfortable IWB (Inside the Waistband) holster that was highly concealable, reliable, and easy put on or take off. Wrap around muzzle design protects the muzzle, keeps your clothes cleaner, and is far more comfortable than exposed versions. The Bodyguard V2 is not the next generation holster but just a different attachment style that many have asked to have made. The over the belt clip is sturdy and and adjustable for straight carry, FBI forward cant and reverse cant popular with some AIWB and crossdraw carriers.
The Bodyguard V2 Holster also features dual adjustable tension screws. This will let you fine tune the amount of force needed to draw the holster to fit your needs.
The “chopped” version is a straight cut across the muzzle that allows you to place a longer barrel version or threaded barrel.
The body of the holster is constructed of .080 Kydex. This offers excellent resistance to environmental conditions as well as body sweat. Also normal atmospheric hot, cold, wet or dry will not harm your holster. Other thicknesses and colors are available as a custom order. Although we feel .080 offers the best properties. The .060 thickness will do the job but feels flimsy to most people and sometimes is a little more difficult to reholster. The extra stiffness over the .060 is something IDPA competitors will appreciate.
This style is also called an appendix carry holster. The minimal width of the wrap around construction lends itself to placing almost anywhere on the belt. The appendix carry refers to placing the holster forward of the hip bone or the 2 o’clock position for a right-handed shooter. It is equally well suited 3, 4, or 5 o’clock carry depending on your preference.
As with any screw hardware; it is recommended that after final set up is made that you use threadlocker on the screws to prevent accidental loosening. We now offer this as a option. The small bottle will do about ten holsters.

Enhanced Trigger Guard
Small and light protection for you double stack Glock in 9/40/357sig. This fits the G17,G18, G19, G22, G23, G26, G27, G31, G34, and G35. Belt Drop Holster
The Belt Drop Holster is the happy place(ment) between having a belt holster and thigh holster. The mid drop design fits belts up to 2.25″ with an adjustable belt sizer. Holsters come shipped in the neutral vertical position but can be easily adjusted for forward or back cant angle with a standard Philips screwdriver. Retention can adjusted via the 2-3 tension screws. Additional levels of security can be had with the Thumb Break option. This rubberized laminated webbing secures across the rear of the slide and is easy to manipulate under stress. This strap is also removable. The single thigh strap helps stabilize the dropped holster. The leg strap features rubber anti-slip strips to minimize shifting while active. There is also an elastic webbing for additional comfort. This strap is also removable. All holsters come mounted directly to the belt drop platform. We do offer a variety quick-release interchangeable hardware that allow your to swap holster quickly or the move your holster from one platform to another easily. Some of the more popular are the Blade-Tech TMMS, Safariland QLS, and G-Code RTI. Essentially they all serve the same function but are not interoperable between brands. One side mounts to the holster (Insert/fork/hanger) and the other mounts to platform (thigh panel/ belt slide, molle adapter) and this is usually called the plate. Is one any better than another? That’s a personal preference as they all have their own following. TMMS puts it off the body the least, RTI is the easiest to swap out. QLS is the most ubiquitous. There is some adjustment in the holster placement in the Belt Drop dependent if you have a light selected. Shoulder Holster Pistol
This is a pistol holster only for use with a shoulder harness system. This is a great add on for people who already have a shoulder holster rig but just need to add a different pistol. The Shoulder Holster Pistol comes with 1″ strap adapters common with most shoulder holster rigs found on the market including the Ares Tactical Shoulder Holste or the LIC (Low Intensity Conflct) Rig. As with all shoulder holster systems that use screws you must use thread locker e.g. Loctite or Vibratite once you have made your initial set up adjustments.$65.00
SideKick Holster
Ares Tactical has made combination pistol and magazine IWB holsters for years by special order. There’s a pretty consistent pattern that several Kydex holster makers use. Our wasn’t that different in the basic design. We applied our critical eye on using the best materials and finishing, but essentially they looked and worked the same. The new SideKick holster is a first in its design. It takes up less belt room than the traditional style making it far more versatile in where you place it. Most pistol and mag holsters are limited to carrying in the front or AIWB (appendix Inside-the-belt). The Ares Tactical SideKick is small enough that some users will be able to place it anywhere including the strong side 3 o’clock position. The mag slot is built to handle full size magazines regardless of pistol size. Compact and subcompact magazines will fit deeper in the slot. Will this work with my Trijicon RMR (Burris Fast Fire, JP JPoint, etc.)? Generally, no. To keep the profile small we tuck the magazine slot close to the pistol. Some combinations of mini dot optics, mount, and compact magazines may work. 3. I see you make other holsters for my XDs 3.3 but not in the SideKick model. Why? The SideKick is made for many double stack pistols. Some double stack pistols and most single stack pistols do not work well with the intent of this design. 4. Is there an option for two or three magazines? No. Adding a second magazine substantially increases the relative size and severely restricts the versatility of the design. Molle Weaponlight Holster
Depending on the figures you look at, between 60-85% of shootings occur in low light. When time is of the essence, having weapon light already mounted to your handgun could be the edge you need. The MOLLE Weaponlight Holster is similar to the standard MOLLE Holster. It provides full slide protection (when you select the Full Sweat Shield) while minimizing the real estate used on your belt or vest. The additional slide coverage helps protect your rear sight and firearm. Custom lower profile slide coverage is available such as the mid sweat shield, Low and low with optic cut. Supplied with dual MOLLE Clips, the MOLLE Holster mounts easily and securely. There are multiple vertical height adjustments as well as horizontal mounting (Thumb Break option recommended). Hybrid Holster
Hybrid holsters have been very popular over the last decade. Providing the conforming nature of leather on the backside and the rugged form fitted Kydex on the outside blends the two spectrum’s of holster design. This is the Ares Tactical take featuring sturdy leather back and .080 Kydex. The Kydex Holster design allows you to have multiple shells and one leather backer. The opening is slightly flared to make holstering easier. The full wrap muzzle is standard. This protects the front sight from damage or become caught up on your clothes. As an added benefit it keeps your clothes clean from powder and oil from the slide and muzzle. Also, the wrapped muzzle reduces sharp edges and wear that can tear holes in your pants. Notice the rounded and treated edges of the leather. We take the extra time to do this because it makes carrying more comfortable and it looks good too. IWB Soft loops are a great option for those wanting something more secure that the traditional metal clips. The pull-the-dot snaps allow easy on and off.
