Tanker Chest Holster

The Tanker Holster was born out of a need for a easy access system where traditional belt or thigh holsters were not practical. Classically seen worn by tankers and pilots, today you can still see these used by military personnel as well as backpackers, hikers, and atv off roaders. The Ares Tactical Tanker Chest Holster is based on the 1940’s US Military M7 Tanker Holster. We have designed in a lot of improvements including using weatherproof Kydex, allowing greater adjustability in sizing and retention. Additionally, we have designed the holster to be adjustable in the carry angle. It can be rotated to near horizontal. This allows for a more natural draw angle to fit your body. The Ares Tactical Tanker Chest Holster can also be configured in the M3 Tanker style that uses a single sling style loop Unlike the original military M3 and M7 Tanker Holsters, ours can be ordered in dozens of different firearms and colors. Optional Crye Multicam, Coyote Brown, OD Green, and other webbing colors can be substituted at additional cost.
