The Range Holster is a great solution for someone wanting a holster that is both versatile in application and easy to use. This taco holster style is formed from a single piece of thermoformed Kydex. This allows a small footprint on your belt freeing up space for other items you need to carry.
The Range Holster is suitable for a causal trip to the range or for use in competitive shooting sports like IDPA, USPSA, and 3gun. The secure locking TekLok belt attachment can be sized up to 2.25″ that covers everything from dress belts to tactical belts and most duty belts.
As with many of our holsters you can have this made to fit your weaponlight. Ares Tactical has over 40 different lights and lasers on hand covering all the major lights like Surefire, Streamlight, Modlite, OLight, Viridian, and Crimson Trace.

Trigger Guard
Small and light protection for you double stack Glock in 9/40/357sig. This fits the G17,G18, G19, G22, G23, G26, G27, G31, G34, and G35. The ambidextrous design covers the trigger area helping to prevent accidental discharge. If you want an even smaller version check out the Micro Trigger Guard. SideKick Holster
Ares Tactical has made combination pistol and magazine IWB holsters for years by special order. There’s a pretty consistent pattern that several Kydex holster makers use. Our wasn’t that different in the basic design. We applied our critical eye on using the best materials and finishing, but essentially they looked and worked the same. The new SideKick holster is a first in its design. It takes up less belt room than the traditional style making it far more versatile in where you place it. Most pistol and mag holsters are limited to carrying in the front or AIWB (appendix Inside-the-belt). The Ares Tactical SideKick is small enough that some users will be able to place it anywhere including the strong side 3 o’clock position. The mag slot is built to handle full size magazines regardless of pistol size. Compact and subcompact magazines will fit deeper in the slot. User adjustable tension screws for both the pistol and magazine. This allows you to custom tune the draw effort needed for the pistol and magazine individually. Want even more versatility? Will the SideKick IWB holster work without a magazine? Yes, the SideKick is designed in a way that allows it to be used with or without a magazine placed in the slot. 2. Will this work with my Trijicon RMR (Burris Fast Fire, JP JPoint, etc.)? Generally, no. To keep the profile small we tuck the magazine slot close to the pistol. Some combinations of mini dot optics, mount, and compact magazines may work. 3. I see you make other holsters for my XDs 3.3 but not in the SideKick model. Why? The SideKick is made for many double stack pistols. Some double stack pistols and most single stack pistols do not work well with the intent of this design. 4. Is there an option for two or three magazines? No. Adding a second magazine substantially increases the relative size and severely restricts the versatility of the design. UltiClip Holster
The Ares Tactical UltiClip Holster takes our loved Bodyguard IWB Holster and updates it for the use with the UltiClip3 retention device. This clamp is so good you don’t need to wear a belt to secure your holster in place. We continue to use .080 thickness Kydex and Holstex for our holsters. That’s 33% thicker and much stronger that what a lot of other makers use. Yet, the Glock G19 holster with UltiClip only tips the scales at 3 ounces. Dual retention screws (most models) allows you to customize the effort need to draw the pistol from the IWB holster. The UltiClip can be moved to allow deep cover seating as well as very high on the belt line, though we don’t recommend placing it too high which increases the tendency to flop away from the body. It comes shipped to place the grip at your pants line. This allows you to establish a secure grip right away. The UltiClip Holster also allows you to customize the cant for your own personal needs. The body of the holster is constructed of .080 Kydex. This offers excellent resistance to environmental conditions as well as body sweat. Also normal atmospheric hot, cold, wet or dry will not harm your holster. This style is also called an appendix carry holster. The minimal width of the wrap around construction lends itself to placing almost anywhere on the belt. Shoulder Holster
From Miami Vice to Dirty Harry or a Yippee Ki-Yay NYC police detective, the shoulder holster has played an iconic role in movies and television. The Ares Tactical Shoulder Holster is an updated lightweight version using Kydex. This is a significant weight saving over older traditional leather versions and fit better than nylon models. We offer both horizontal and vertical carry holsters. Both models features an optional removable belt tie down. Each holster has a tension adjustment so you can adjust the retention to meet your desire. You can add a double magazine carrier on the other side. This really helps balance the rig and is a great way to have extra magazines at the ready. The shoulder harness is x-rig design that distributes weight well and helps to keep you holster and ammo where you place them. On the off side you can add a double magazine pouch or a combination magazine and flashlight pouch. Besides having those extra items you should be carrying easily at hand is provides great balance if you are not tying your holster into your belt. All shoulder holsters require greater care and training as compared to strong side belt holsters such as our Standard Holster. The disadvantages are it is very easy to sweep (muzzle) yourself and others on the draw. Also, it can be troublesome for people back problems. There are also some significant advantages wearing a shoulder holster. Among the advantages of a shoulder holster is access while seated. This is particularly true when you are strapped into your car seat. You can also stage your hand on the weapon under your jacket and still be concealed and inconspicuous. The shoulder rig is a great way to have your pistol and magazines at the ready for those bumps in the night. Many people find the shoulder holster in more convenient to draw with either hand. Tie down straps simple screw onto your kydex holster or mag holder and snap around your belt. We recommend at least one when choosing the vertical shoulder holster configuration. Molle Holster
The MOLLE Holster provides full slide protection while minimizing the real estate used on your belt or vest. The additional slide coverage helps protect your rear sight and firearm. Custom lower profile slide coverage is also available. Supplied with dual MALICE Clips, the MOLLE Holster mounts easily and securely. There are multiple vertical height adjustments as well as horizontal mounting. Mounting solutions using G-Code RTI system, Safariland QLS and ELS, or Blade-Tech Tek-Lok can be done on a custom basis too. If you want added versatility you can get the optional rigid belt loop is available for $10. They are available in 1.5, 1.75, and 2″ and come with all the necessary hardware. The nearly indestructible Kydex body withstands the rigors of being in the field. Hot, cold, dry or wet is will will not matter. Hybrid Holster
Hybrid holsters have been very popular over the last decade. Providing the conforming nature of leather on the backside and the rugged form fitted Kydex on the outside blends the two spectrum’s of holster design. This is the Ares Tactical take featuring sturdy leather back and .080 Kydex. The Kydex Holster design allows you to have multiple shells and one leather backer. The opening is slightly flared to make holstering easier. The full wrap muzzle is standard. This protects the front sight from damage or become caught up on your clothes. As an added benefit it keeps your clothes clean from powder and oil from the slide and muzzle. Also, the wrapped muzzle reduces sharp edges and wear that can tear holes in your pants. Notice the rounded and treated edges of the leather. We take the extra time to do this because it makes carrying more comfortable and it looks good too. IWB Soft loops are a great option for those wanting something more secure that the traditional metal clips. The pull-the-dot snaps allow easy on and off. You can also choose tuckable injection molded belt clips. Cant angle can be fine tuned via front and back adjustment holes. Multiple shells are available for only $20. The Bodyguard IWB Holster grew out of a need for a comfortable IWB (Inside the Waistband) holster that was highly concealable, reliable, and easy put on or take off. This Kydex holster is ambidextrous and can be configured for right and left hand carry. Wrap around muzzle design protects the muzzle, keeps your clothes cleaner, and is far more comfortable than exposed versions. The tuckable J-hook allows for full concealment with minimal hook showing. An optional pull-the-dot soft loop kit is available for $10. Also consider the new UltiClip. Weaponlight Holster
Depending on the figures you look at, between 60-85% of shootings occur in low light. When time is of the essence, having weapon light already mounted to your handgun could be the edge you need. Modeled similarly to The Standard Holster, the Weapon light holster can be configured for belt carry or inside-the-waistband (IWB). Pictured is a Sig Sauer P226 9mm with a Streamlight TLR-1 weapon light in OD Green. The base model comes in black with 1.75″ belt loops. Other color and attachment methods are available. The body of the holster is constructed of .080 Kydex or, for some finishes, Holstex. Both offer excellent resistance to environmental conditions. Hot, cold, wet or dry will not harm your holster. Other thicknesses are available as a custom order. Although we feel .080 offers the best properties. The .060 thickness will do the job but feels flimsy to most people. Standard belt loops are made of very rigid .125 Kydex. Optional J-Hook or soft belt loops extends the versatility of this holster to be carried inside the waistband (IWB). Like the Standard Holster, the Weaponlight Holster has belt loop positions that allow four carry heights and different angles. The highest position of the belt loops allows the pistol to sit lowest on your belt. This will roughly place the trigger guard at the belt level. The belt loops can be dropped down to the next set of eyelets making for a slightly higher ride. Flipping the belt loops upside down with further raise the ride of the holster. Inverting the belt loops for a very high ride, as with any holster, should only be done with a stiff belt.
