The Tanker Holster was born out of a need for a easy access system where traditional belt or thigh holsters were not practical. Classically seen worn by tankers and pilots, today you can still see these used by military personnel as well as backpackers, hikers, and atv off roaders.
The Ares Tactical Tanker Chest Holster is based on the 1940’s US Military M7 Tanker Holster. We have designed in a lot of improvements including using weatherproof Kydex, allowing greater adjustability in sizing and retention. Additionally, we have designed the holster to be adjustable in the carry angle. It can be rotated to near horizontal. This allows for a more natural draw angle to fit your body.
The Ares Tactical Tanker Chest Holster can also be configured in the M3 Tanker style that uses a single sling style loop
Unlike the original military M3 and M7 Tanker Holsters, ours can be ordered in dozens of different firearms and colors. Optional Crye Multicam, Coyote Brown, OD Green, and other webbing colors can be substituted at additional cost.

Bodyguard IWB V2
New! The Bodyguard V2 Holster grew out of a need for a comfortable IWB (Inside the Waistband) holster that was highly concealable, reliable, and easy put on or take off. Wrap around muzzle design protects the muzzle, keeps your clothes cleaner, and is far more comfortable than exposed versions. The Bodyguard V2 is not the next generation holster but just a different attachment style that many have asked to have made. The over the belt clip is sturdy and and adjustable for straight carry, FBI forward cant and reverse cant popular with some AIWB and crossdraw carriers. The Bodyguard V2 Holster also features dual adjustable tension screws. This will let you fine tune the amount of force needed to draw the holster to fit your needs. The “chopped” version is a straight cut across the muzzle that allows you to place a longer barrel version or threaded barrel. The body of the holster is constructed of .080 Kydex. This offers excellent resistance to environmental conditions as well as body sweat. Also normal atmospheric hot, cold, wet or dry will not harm your holster. Other thicknesses and colors are available as a custom order. Although we feel .080 offers the best properties. The .060 thickness will do the job but feels flimsy to most people and sometimes is a little more difficult to reholster. The extra stiffness over the .060 is something IDPA competitors will appreciate. This style is also called an appendix carry holster. The minimal width of the wrap around construction lends itself to placing almost anywhere on the belt. The appendix carry refers to placing the holster forward of the hip bone or the 2 o’clock position for a right-handed shooter. It is equally well suited 3, 4, or 5 o’clock carry depending on your preference. As with any screw hardware; it is recommended that after final set up is made that you use threadlocker on the screws to prevent accidental loosening. We now offer this as a option. Bodyguard IWB Holster
The Bodyguard IWB Holster grew out of a need for a comfortable IWB (Inside the Waistband) holster that was highly concealable, reliable, and easy put on or take off. This Kydex holster is ambidextrous and can be configured for right and left hand carry. Wrap around muzzle design protects the muzzle, keeps your clothes cleaner, and is far more comfortable than exposed versions. The tuckable J-hook allows for full concealment with minimal hook showing. An optional pull-the-dot soft loop kit is available for $10. Also consider the new UltiClip. This is a great solution for those men and women who do not wear belts or want an even more concealed carry Kydex holster The body of the holster is constructed of .080 Kydex. Weaponlight Holster
Depending on the figures you look at, between 60-85% of shootings occur in low light. When time is of the essence, having weapon light already mounted to your handgun could be the edge you need. Modeled similarly to The Standard Holster, the Weapon light holster can be configured for belt carry or inside-the-waistband (IWB). Pictured is a Sig Sauer P226 9mm with a Streamlight TLR-1 weapon light in OD Green. The base model comes in black with 1.75″ belt loops. Other color and attachment methods are available. The body of the holster is constructed of .080 Kydex or, for some finishes, Holstex. Both offer excellent resistance to environmental conditions. Hot, cold, wet or dry will not harm your holster. Other thicknesses are available as a custom order. Although we feel .080 offers the best properties. The .060 thickness will do the job but feels flimsy to most people. Standard belt loops are made of very rigid .125 Kydex. Optional J-Hook or soft belt loops extends the versatility of this holster to be carried inside the waistband (IWB). Like the Standard Holster, the Weaponlight Holster has belt loop positions that allow four carry heights and different angles. The highest position of the belt loops allows the pistol to sit lowest on your belt. This will roughly place the trigger guard at the belt level. The belt loops can be dropped down to the next set of eyelets making for a slightly higher ride. Flipping the belt loops upside down with further raise the ride of the holster. Inverting the belt loops for a very high ride, as with any holster, should only be done with a stiff belt.
